Default cam only LS1, injectors?

I am getting ready to install a tick sns 3 on my 02 ss. Stock 241 heads with new springs. Martin told me i should be good with stock 28.8 injectors, but i see so many cam only threads going both ways. Some guys are maxing the injectors, others aren't. I would hate to get to the dyno, and not have enough injector, and have to possibly pay to hit the dyno again. The stock pump is in great shape, so i have been looking for some 30 lb 3 bar injectors to keep from swapping the pump at the moment. The problem is, i can't find any! All i can find is 36+, and a 255 set-up is out of the budget at the moment. So are injectors, but if i need em i will get them. Any insight would be great! Thanks,

A Racetronix 340 specific for 99-02 F bodies will probably allow you to stay with the 02' injectors. The pump and hotwire kit is about the same money as a set of injectors. The 255 that is not F body specific sucks. If you do decide to get bigger injectors look for a set of LS2's or other stockers. The injector data is easy to get.

Good to know. I wonder what the hotwire kit alone would do. I have one sitting on my 96 TA in the garage that is ripped apart for a turbo build.

It is hard to say. I haven't personally tried that one. You would have to data log, install, data log, and compare.

I ran trex cam, ported 241 heads, FAST 92/92, full bolt-ons and completely stock fuel system. The fuel was not yet maxed but slightly larger injectors could have gotten me a bit more power.

I pulled the trigger on a racetronix kit and fast 36 lb injectors to be on the safe side.
