So after multiple warnings, I finally got a ticket for not having a front plate . Damn California cops and laws. So since I have to put it on, I was wondering if anyone has any unique ways or have seen interesting ways to mount a bracket or whatever for the plate so its not such an eyesore? I have the Wings West grille insert and I just hate how the front plate looks on Camaros. I don't think there's much out there on this, but just thought I'd give it a shot.

You can try the SLP Bracket. I haven't seen one on a car before, but it will give you an option.

A friend of mine has his on the airdam. From a distance, you can see it fine. Up close you would never know it was there.

for the slp bracket does it install behind the grill or from under the car?

the SLP bracket installs underneath the car and comes up in front of the nose.

Stick it on with double sided 3m sticky tape (the kind with the foam in the middle)
Get the ticket cleared, and pull the thing back off. Not like you are going to be hauled off to jail if you get another front plate ticket
I cleared one on my old camaro and one on my bird using tape

I would modify the SLP bracket to remove easily.. that way you can run the plate and then remove it at car shows and such (or if your just feeling lucky)

Ive lived in SoCal all my life.. have NEVER ran a front plate on ANY car ive owned and ive gotten popped for it once well over 10 years ago.. guess im lucky

Of course now i will get pulled over on the way home.. DOH!! where is some wood to knock on????
