Default CTSV LS6 coolant Xover tube leak, Help!

Greetings all

My new Caddy CTSV has a very small leak at the coolant crossover tube
where it attaches to the heads. it's a very slow about 2 qt in 1 month.

My question to you guys is should I take it to the dealer and have them
tear the top of my brand new engine off. Or should I just try some
liquid Bar's leak. I'm really bummed about this.

Thanks

Hell, they shouldn't have to tear into too much, the cross over is right there under the TB. You pay $50K for a car, might as well use that warranty.

Do not use any type of stop leak, it will reduce the cooling systems effeciency. Take it in and have them fix it correctly.

I would give the Caddy service department a try. I have been extremely impressed by their service department with the Escalade and would rate the Caddy service several standards higher than any Chevy or Pontiac service department I have been too. I hope GM incorporates this level of service into all dealerships soon.
