Default Oil ? for Patman...

What is your opinion on a good oil for turbocharged engines like the 86-87 TurboRegals? What about newer turbo cars? thanks

Redline is one of the best choices for a hard driven 3.8 turbo car, but something like Royal Purple Racing 41 would also be good.

A newer turbo car would also work well with those oils.

Redline looks good but it is almost $8 a qt, ouch. I have been using valvoline 5w-30. I guess I should of asked what's the best affordable oil? Most of the buick guys run mobil 1 synthetic, just wanted some new opinions.

The best affordable oil would have to be my favorite oil, the 0w30 German made Castrol Syntec. It's under $5 per quart, and you can often find it on sale where you get 5 quarts for the price of 4 from Autozone.
