Burnout for ET drags? and PSI
I have 26x10x15 ET Drags that I have never used at the track before (they are my street tires ). How long of a burnout do I need to do with them? On the street, in 50 degree weather, even when I launch they dont spin so i am guessing I don't need a very long one.
Also what is a good PSI for the track? and for the street?

That is possibly the worst tire to use for a street tire.
As for track use (what they are solely intended for) they don't need much of a burnout. I usually spin them for about 4-5 seconds, which is plenty. They work good for me ~16-17 PSI.

My ET drags are street tires too...Wanna see something funny, watch me panic and make a mad dash for the house if i see one rain cloud! Those slicks are great for short cruises to the street races, but your deadmeat if it rains. I almost lost my car for good one night when a severe thunderstorm came up and I was 25 miles from home. I get my best 60ft times with 15-18 lbs. Its kind of trail and error.

I'd get some cheap radials Brandon the ET Drags will kick up rocks and wear out fast on the Street.
I'd try them at 15psi to start, they will grow to 17psi.

Re: Burnout for ET drags? and PSI
I was palying with tire pressure on my et streets at the track this week. I tried 16lbs, 18lbs and 20lbs. I had no spin on any of them launching the auto at 2000rpm. The mph went up each time I increased the pressure. At 22 they spun. I was cutting 1.69-1.72 60' on all the runs. The burnouts were 4-5 seconds after they started smoking.

Hey Onyx come down to Carlsbad where Terry and I race and you'll need to change your name to 11.no director. You Texas folk just don't get it do you.

Re: Burnout for ET drags? and PSI
I had best luck with 14 psi and doing a medium/short burnout (just get some smoke coming off em). Best of 1.62 60' with the same 26/10x15's.
