11.14 @ 119.77 at West Coast Shootout
I'm so happy. I set a new best AND won the Max NA class. I don't even care that the DA was 2300-2600. I haven't been drag racing that long and it sure feels good to bring home a trophy. I guess it makes all the wrenching & 10 hr. drive (each way) worth it. I sure can't wait for a local track to open.
Famoso actually wasn't prepped that well. From everyone I talked to and watched run...the track just wasn't as good as it could have been. I was spinning some but still cut mid 1.5 60ft's all day long. I thought the track was pretty good, but nobody else seemed to think so. Especially after looking at the videos, I can see that the car is launching great and settling in quick. I definately think the new 26X11.5X15 QTP's are much better than my old 26X10.5X15 ET Streets. I don't know if it's the tire compound or because they're .5" taller and 1.5"wider. But I did add the right rear air bag too.
I think 1.4X 60ft's are a trip to sacramento away.
And the quest for 10's continues.....

Awesome runs in Bakersfield. I think you will see 10's for sure in Sacramento.

Congrats bro..........
You have to let us know when you are coming to Sac so we can be there... 10's for sure!!!!!!
All us Sac racers were .3-.6 seconds off our normal ETs.

Re: 11.14 @ 119.77 at West Coast Shootout
Thanks guys.
Tire pressure was around 14psi. I think I might slip into the 10's on a DOT tire. But our local track isn't prepped very well so I might just get some full hoosier slicks for the season. Anybody need any 15" QTP's with only 8 passes?
If I can time it right and come down to Sac. on the normal (negative DA) days, I'll be there. I sure can't wait for that day.
I also didn't have any problems with the Meziere waterpump. Temps stayed normal and this was in near 90 degree weather. When I run in Sacramento, I'll get a little better idea of what it might be worth....ET/MPH wise.
