First runs with Hooker LT's with OR pipe, Hammer Cam, and ASP pulley
Only one pass at the track tonight due to rain about an hour after the track opened. Let me tell you how it was before the mods. With all the mods in the sig besides the ones in the subject I had a 13....well here is the slip
rt...476
60'..1.915
330'.5.513
1/8..8.505
mph..82.19
1000.11.104
1/4..13.298
mph..103.02
Now before you say "Damn that is slow for all those mods." I run at Bristol Dragway and it is one of the nicest tracks in the country but also one of the worst to run at for records because of the altitude (1800ft above sea level). That stinks!
Now my fuel pump went out about two months after that run. That is the only thing I had changed from the that pass to the first one I ran this year and we was only running 1/8 that day and my pass was a 8.32 with a 1.96 60' time.
Now, my pass tonight after my headers and cam and pulley.
rt...616
60'..2.074
330'.5.573
1/8..8.454
mph..85.65
1000.10.936
1/4..13.027
mph..107.98
The Temperature was 77
Relative humidity 62%
Barometer 29.70
Dewpoint 63
All these passes were on street tires but on this pass, I pulled off the lights like I was coming out from a stoplight and just kept on going down with the throttle real slow. I knew it would end up spinning and I didn't to hammer it off the line and waste a good pass with a lot of tire spin.
I made that run and got back in the staging lane and was up front again when here came the rain. I will be running tommorrow if the rain holds off on E.T. streets and hammer it off the line. Hopefully I will try to get a 12.75-12.8.
What do you guys think? What does the mph equal out to E.T. wise? Not a bad gain in mph but I need to get that e.t. down to be happy. <img border="0" alt="[Camaro]" title="" src="graemlins/camaro.gif" />

i can't really be a judge about that "conversion", but FYI, i ran a 12.65 @ 106mph w/ a 1.71 60ft. get your 60ft down around there and you will be flying!
Chris
ps- i had a '98 Z A4 3.23's, Vig3200, air lid, exhaust on that run
