went to the track, lotsa ?'s ran 12.2 @ 111 NA
i went to the most ghetto track in the world today so i had some traction probs, along with tuning problems since i just installed a cam yesterday
12.26@111.96 w/ a 1.76 sixty
other than i need practice on doing better burnouts, mainly the rollout i screw up. Should i put more pressure in the left tire and less in the right cause my rear always slides to the left. also in the left lane i could NOT do a burnout, PERIOD, my rear swung left severly no matter what i tried. but in the right lane i could keep it straight. both tires i had at 12 PSI warm (worked the best), should i go lower? also onced ive done some good burnouts is it possible to OVERHEAT ET streets?
EDIT: the problem with the shifts was a SES code for HIGH voltage on the TPS, the ported TB i bought had the bump stop ground to 5.5 freaking VOLTS!!
Next weekend i throw the BOTTLE on 150 shot. didnt use it this weekend since its been a year and i just swapped the cam. think i can get 10's if i solve my problmes?

When the rearend starts walking on you, typically it's because the tires are trying to grab while you're attempting a burnout. It will sometimes happen to me if I didn't completely coat the tires in the waterbox. I tap the throttle with the rear tires in the water so that they spin just enough to completely coat the tires. You don't want to spin them hard because this will sling water into your wheelwell. Ya don't want water dripping onto your tires when you're staging. Once you coat the tires, pull out of the water and light 'em up. I do NOT burn the tires to the line! This is HARD on the rearend. I'd only do this if I had a 12-bolt or 9" with a spool. I also hold 1st gear when I do my burnout. Sure, you can get more rotation of the tires if you shift the car into 2nd or even 3rd, but it's hard on the transmission. Just keep the RPM's up, and you'll get all of the rotation that you need. I will burn the tires until I feel them beginning to grab. This is typically after 4-5 seconds of burning them. On the first pass of the night, my tires will typically swell 2 psi since they're warm, at best. The burnout will add quite a bit of heat, so set your tire pressure accordingly. If I want my tire pressure at 14 psi, I'll set it at 12 psi for the first pass.
I personally would not go lower than 12 psi with the ET Streets. IF you were running tubes, you might try a pound or two lower, but 10 would be the lowest I'd go on those tires. 12-14 psi always worked best for me when I ran them.
