'72 Suburban LS1 Hey guys, I'm planning to put together an LS1 based engine to put into my '72 Suburban. I'm going to use my stock LS1 heads from my '02 Z28. What shortblock should I build? I'm thinking about a 408 iron block build up. The sub is used for towing/hauling so I'm looking for low rpm and high torque. I'm planning to use the Edelbrock/MSD carb setup. Any suggestions? Thanks.
