rim switch - should i?
i have 17" chrome z06 rims and my friend has chrome z06 18x9.5 fronts and 18x10.5 rears. both sets have good tread on them, and he's selling his car, so he wants to trade me for $300 on the rims (i give him $300 and get his 18s, and he gets my 17s). first question - is that a good deal?
secondly, they are the 58mm offset. he said he had to cut off his bump stops and beat the **** out of his fender (instead of rolling it) so that they could fit right. i'm wanting the best alternatives to both rolling the fender (unless that MUST be done?) and cutting the bump stops. so what are my alternatives (if any)?
and the third and final thing i would like to know: how much would my speedo be affected? the rear tires are 295s. thanks!

http://www.discounttiredirect.com/di...foTireMath.jsp This will tell you the speedo difference.
The offer of $300 seems decent, if the tires are comparable in wear, I love the lool of 18's on Camaros so I am partial.
I answered your PM.
