Re: Need Input (Track and Street) on SportsmanPro & QuickTime DOT's
i have 27x11.50x15 hoosier qtp's and they are great. granted im not putting down gobs of horsepower(and the track was prepped for psca)i didnt spin a lick at the track. ussually on dr's, i would scratch them into 4th gear. and on the street they will spin for maybe 20-30 feet and then start gripping hard. i had the psi at 20 on the strip and the street.

Need Input (Track and Street) on SportsmanPro & QuickTime DOT's
Anyone running Sportsman Pro tires? If so, what do you think of them? street - track?
How do you think 26x12.5x15 (10" tread) would compare on the track to a 11.5 (9.9") E/T Street? I'm also thinking about the Hoosier QuickTime DOT's (27" tall and 10" tread)
Obviously, I looking around to see if there is truely a tire I can run on the street/highway and hook very well at the track!
Thanks!
Mark

its not me but a guy i know runs 27/11/15 qtp's. hes got an lt1, stock suspension, pye3400 with a 150 shot, stock longblock boltons. he cuts 1.51's and runs 11.20's. as a comparison he tried to launch on the spray on 275/60 bfg's and he almost ate the wall.

I have the QTP 27 x 11.5 x 15
I cut 1.55 with them.. I really like them, and drive them all the time on the street. But, you have to be careful. I got a hole in one of my tires just by driving on a rocky driveway.. Rock punctured the tire.
