Default LS1 f-body oil pump pickup in a 6.0 iron block?

Will it work? I'm also wondering about the windage tray. Everything else looks like it'll bolt right up. Any other suprises?

The oilpan, oil pick-up tube and windagetray should fit the 6.0 block with no problems.Should bolt right in.

There won't be any interference with a 4.000" stroke?

The 6.0L uses the exact same crank as the 5.7L LS1 only diff is the bore. If you are going to a larger stroke then you need to assemble it and check everything.

I'm waiting for the machine shop to finish my block so I can't do anything right now. I just read somewhere that the f-body pickup and tray won't bolt up.

it will, the block is the same exact design just iron. You may be hearing it won't fit because it won't fit with the truck oil pans because they are a different design. As long as you use your FBody oil pan you'll be fine.

Cool, thanks. One less thing to worry about.
