Default Thank You..AGOSTINO RACING ENGINES...Thank You....

The engine is just as strong, smooth and quiet as the first time. Thanks soooooooooooooooooo much for taking it back and completely rebuilding it for me after my unfortunate ring issue, which was no fault of yours. And Nick, thanks for the head work too. Thanks to everyone I spoke with a hundred times in those 4 weeks, hope I didn't drive you nuts.

Customer service was just great the whole time, had my engine completely rebuilt in about 4 weeks or so.

But man the engine is strong and sweet. After 800 miles I'll go back for a full dyno tune.

THANKS AGAIN A.R.E.

That's great Lyle. I'm glad after everything you've gone through that it's back together and running strong. I hope to hear some stories from you kicking some *** with that thing on the gun in the kill stories section.

ARE, engine warranty, kill stories? Those three terms do not belong in the same thread.

What exactly do you mean? I know Lyle wanted to take on some high HP Supras with this car, so I mearly just stated I hope to hear about him doing just that in the appropriate forum. Is that outta line or something? Geeze.

ARE built it..............

ARE warranteed it 100%, I paid for NOTHING but shipping, PLUS Nick was nice enough to upgrade my heads FOR FREE, since its been a year and half since the engine was first built.

I've already killed Vette's, Z06's, '03 Cobras and Vipers..........those are kill stories.

With a 300 shot its gonna be hard to beat anywhere, but there's always someone faster.

And I picked my car up yesterday, so its no mirage.

Thats the plan. A 300 shot should do it, eh? Imagine if I hook at the track

Glad to hear Lyle! Dave your next ! The shop is putting out great product right now, the new structure is coming around, but there is so much work its hard to keep up.. We're coming around again, and we're starting a few BIG BOOST projects and of course there always the nitrous cars... Both LS1 and LT1 cars btw...

With all that has gone on, then after throwing a rod & destroying my ARE engine last night, I'm going to reserve comment on the "new" ARE.

Sorry to hear... But That motor was built ages ago and ran fine, On and off the spray is a big no-no ! I dont understand the 'comment' thing, it was not the motors fault!

I dont see how the motor is to blame for what you did on the track. I honestly mean no offense but what you did behind the wheel was the issue there. (As you know and stated in your post in the drag racing section)

Congrats Kyle

Did you tune the car with the injectors etc?

Make sure you dyno tune the car before flogging it or even driving it alot

ARE wants me to put 800 miles on the car, never going over 3,000rpm, before it see's a dyno. Mike Norris checked the A/F through that range and said it was just fine, not too rich at all. So...............

Make sure you dyno tune the car before flogging it or even driving it alot

I'll bring it back after 800 miles for a full dyno tune.

With Nick back in charge, good things seem to be happening at ARE.

GREAT news Glad ARE and the gang took care of you. My car goes in this Winter for the same thing.......I look forward to having my car perfect too. I spoke to Nick about it at length and he was very concerned. He said whatever it takes to make it right.........ALL under warranty. I have no doubt ARE will take care of me...........
