29 x 10.0 x 15 Hoosier, my best option?
Bolt-on SS A4 (4l60E rebuild coming soon <img border="0" title="" alt="[Sad]" src="gr_sad.gif" /> )
12 bolt w/ 4.30
6200 rpm shift points
ST 3800 stall
NOS 150 dry shot
Car dynos 454/547 with stock stall, stock gear, and stock manifolds.
Adding Hooker LT's and ORY with the above mods so the numbers should go a little higher.
I want to launch on the bottle and dead hook at our crappy local track (Atlanta Dragway <img border="0" title="" alt="[Mad]" src="gr_images/icons/mad.gif" /> )
I need to order new tires for my 15x8 ProStars.
So far I think my best option is the 29x10x15.
At 6200 in 3rd I should be able to trap 125 without taking into consideration any swelling of the tire on the top end.
What do you guys think, is this too much tire?
Any suggestions?
Thanks.
Jeffrey

with the 29's you are going to have to open up the the quater panel a bit.
My goodyear eagle's 28x10x15 rub at the top end, front and back.
P.S. the goodyears dead hooked for me with a M6, 150 shot, spraying out of the hole at 6200 rpm's. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Eek!]" src="gr_eek2.gif" />
It was enough to destroy my eaton posi in my moser 12'bolt. <img border="0" alt="[devil]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_devil.gif" />

Sounds pretty interesting, I will say that 15x10's tuck the tire in more with 15x8/5.5 I think you are more likely to have to trim a bunch of the rear bumper cover.
Are you running a bigger intank pump, otherwise I can't see you really getting a 150 true shot out of a NOS kit.

How much are we talking here? Just a little plastic cutting and some selective banging or is it going to be a huge ordeal? I just bought my 12-bolt and don't want to switch gears just yet.
PSJ, It still has a stock fuel system top to bottom. I made 144 rwhp with the NOS 5177 kit
at around 1150 psi with no jets. I need to do a little more a-tapping to make sure everything is okay, but so far so good.
Thanks for the help.
