another pulley question.
I am looking for a straight forward answer to my question, because I cant seem to find one.
I want to get asp pulley(s) but dont know what to get. I dont have a stereo or use my ac (alot) so electrical drain probably wont be a big problem. Also it is an M6.
Basically, what pulley(s) and belt(s) should I get to net the most hp gain?
I need to replace at least one of my idler pulleys soon because it is making very loud bering noises. So I want to toss on the asp pulley(s) then.

All of the pulleys will net about the same gains you will wnat to get the CRANK PULLEY. IMHO I would go witht he march from thunder IIRC it comes with bolts and belts. If it doesnt they can send you some for 20.00 (belts) 3-5 for the bolt.
Hope this helps

I have been able to find more good reports/experiance with the asp's than the march. I think I am just going to stick with the asp. So I should just get the crank pulley, crank bolt, and belts to match the crank pulley? What about the alternator pulley, etc.?
Thanks

HumpinSS: I havnt heard bad things about the march, just not much information other than people saying buy it...sorry for the confusion. I have just found more indepth experiances about the asp.
Greg: what other mods did you have when you put on the pulley? Also What belts do I need with just the crank pulley, and where did you get it and what did it cost?

you need to get all the belts that go on the crank pulley, since its going to be a difference size pulley its going to need different size belts. the belts are sold in packages generally, or when u do order the part, CALL and order it, that way you can talk to whomever you're ordering it from so u make sure you get everything you need. most every decent race shop knows exactly what all you'll need.
