I am currently in the market for a rear end.
Short term plans: Edelbrock LTs, 4.11 gears, and a few more bolt-ons
Long term plans (2 yrs): G5x3 cam, spec stage 3, 125 shot, and 3.73 gears
The 9" appeals to me because of its stregnth, and the ease of ring and pinion swaps (since I plan on nitrous).
However a Strange 12-bolt seems to be more of a bolt in.
At what point are M-6 cars breaking the 12 bolt, how much is involved in the 9" swap, and how does the 9" behave in corners?
This car will be run on the street, but I want to nail it out of the hole on slicks.

I've got a 9" in my car, i've installed 12-bolts into several other cars as well. The installation of the two into a car is identical. The 9" behaves perfectly fine in the corners with a posi. I've put about 30,000 miles on mine in the last 1.5 years and it's still just as quiet and smooth as the day I installed it.
