Default 1st. wall of shame!

M6 + 3K + Mcloed = popped rear, locking it up, causing the drive shaft to rip into 3 peices! Car sat on the line, and did not even break the beams!

Now I guess my final reason to get a 12 bolt and Denny's drive shaft is here!

Ahhh, the rear end went Sorry to hear that Mike. I was wondering how that driveline got so twisted! So did you have it towed home?

Damn! Didn't even break the beam. Isn't it only a couple inches from the staging beams.

Now that is destroying the driveline with "EXTREME PREJUDICE"

I've done that. Blew the driveshaft into four pieces! Car never broke the beams. Another car Saturday, a 68 Camaro, broke something in the rear and the beams never broke either. Strange when it happens isn't it!

Jim and Ryan brought me Jim's stock drive shaft out of his car that he had laying around, and I was able to drive it home. Thanks to Jim and Ryan who helped me out!

Mike,

You weren't the only one that blew up a 10 bolt yesterday.

Lets just say 5500rpm Clutch dumps w/ a 430rwhp 396 on a 4.10 geared 10 Bolt can make for problems.

Haven't cracked it open yet, I KNOW the gears ae toast, and either the spider gears are gone, or the C-Clip snapped because as I was going around the corner to load it on the trailer something went kerthud and a friend said the wheel was wobbling.....

Oh well I have a new diff and 4.56s ready to go in so long as I didn't snap the end of the axle off.

Parts carnage is

I have a 4.10 ring gear with 16 missing teeth, mated to a sheared off pinion gear for sale if anyone is interested. Heck if the price is right I'll even throw in my stock axles, shipping should be easy as itis in three pieces .

I managed to break the 10 bolt three times before breaking down and buying the Moser. I even snapped the rear once on a 2-3 shift, that was scary as the whole back end seized.

I leave a lot harder on the Moser than I ever left on the 10 bolt and have nver has a problem.

Be thankful it only took out your driveshaft. I had done the same but i had a heavy duty driveshaft that didnt break. The rear locked up on me and the tranny blew up in to pieces.
Here are some pics of my disaster.

Pic of the driveshaft. The inputshaft is still in the driveshaft.

Last this is the piece the track guy gave to me as they where pushing the car off the track. I knew it was bad when he handed me this.

Holy Crap those pics will give me nightmares for weeks!!!!
I got tired of breaking gears in my 10 bolt and got the Moser. Now its 5500rpm side stepping the clutch and wheels up baby!! Yeah, finally carrying the front wheels. No feeling like that in the world! MUWHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
