Help...Several HPTuner questions?
I really like the HPTuners set up over the LS1Edit (based on feedback, no hands on) but have a few questions before I finialize my choice.
1. Will HPtuners support USB 1.1 or 2.0 CPU connection at some point?
(from what I understand it is strictly serial)
2. When will a wideband feature be added?
3. How does the HP Scanner compare to EFI LiveV6?
4. Those with EFI familiarity, how do you think their tuner will compare?
(from what I can tell it will be more $, but will be delivered with wideband and EFI LiveV7)
thanks

The scanner is less fancy than EFILiveV6. However
I have both, and only bother with HPTuners as it
does everything I need (except the bidirectional
controls of the Pro version, which I have and only
(tried to) used once - and at the time the Crank
Relearn function was busted though I think it's
been fixed again. HPTuners sez the bidirectional
feature may be in the next update (believe it's a
$99 upgrade just like EFILive does between std
and Pro).
I don't know about EFILive Flashscan functionality,
anybody who does is not talking. Supposedly in
beta testing but I'm sure those who test are sworn
to secrecy until release. You will get a wideband
input port or three but not the wideband sensor &
electronics itself.

Do you have any insight on USB connectivity? when it comes out will it be 2.0 or 1.1?
how well has HPTuners been with delivering features and/or updates promised?
thanks again

well it seems like HPTuners is pretty popular around here, that's a good thing in my book; the more users there are the larger the knowledge pool is.
499 gets the full show then, anyone know of any deals coming up?
