Default Reverse split cams?

Its to my limited understanding that a reverse split cam is when the intake life/duration is more than the exhaust right? Or no. I always just thought it was when the intake/exhaust lifts/duration werent the same. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Confused]" src="images/icons/confused.gif" />

LG said he doesnt care for reverse split cams, but then I saw the specs on the G5X2 and it threw me off.

Default Re: Reverse split cams?

Reverse split is a phrase coined by members on this board to refer to cams with larger lobe areas on the intake side (not necessarily greater duration as lift is a factor in lobe area as well).

A standard or traditional split favors the exhaust side.
