Default mickey radial impressions

I changed from 10.5x27 et streets to the new 275 50 15 et street radials today and what an improvement. The bias ply tire just never worked well with my 6 sp so I thought I'd try these. They are on 15x8.5 convo pros and fit well.
I also changed to radial fronts and found cooper sportmaster glt 165/15 that are 25.33 tall so the abs doesn't go nuts. The car drives much better in normal conditions without 2 ply et fronts flopping around up there.I did pay a weight penalty for this change so it's not all gravy. No track times yet and harlan still is working on my 2 step so no hard data but I can tell an improvment just by seat of the pants in traction.I could never set the 2 step higher than 3500 before blowing off the tires, that has now changed as I eyeballed a launch and it bogged bad at 4000.This could get interesting!

Keep us posted, I am getting ready to order a set myself, just trying to decide if I want 15" or 17". Already have the calipers ground from borrowing a set of ET Streets...
