Good day at the Shootout: 11.29@118 and the SS\A trophy
My car ran as good as I could of hoped and the track hooked better than I could have imagined.
The weather was pretty good too.
In qualifying I ran:
1.51 11.344@117.89 3549 raceweight
1.53 11.343@118.12 3545 raceweight
My first round of eliminations was a bye-run
I eased into the gas (under the advice of tim98ta) and ran
1.57 11.39@118.06 3544 raceweight
Next round of eliminations I ran Fastr A4 Good race!
1.52 11.31@118.18 3542 raceweight
Final round vs Trevor D and his mean SS Good race!
1.51 11.29@118.28 3540 raceweight
Trevor tree'd me a good bit (.079) but luckily I had enough to come around him to win by .037 of a second
Thanks to Thunder Racing and all the other sponsors that made this race happen. It was really cool to meet everyone and see so many fast cars. I can't wait for the next race

It was great to finally meet you Mike! You had your car dialed in really well. I knew I'd have my hands full! It made for a REALLY fun race, and it was nice to watch some cars go down the track that I'm usually reading about. The track prep was AWESOME! Never did I expect to pull those kind of 60' times on a set of BFG DR's. Now that the Shootout is over, it's time to shed some weight and add more HP.
Congrats on your win, and good luck with your car this winter!

Thanks everyone.
No PSJ my heads are not milled. The heads have never been off the motor. The only changes to my motor are: LS6 intake, Futral throttle body, Futral 226 cam, Comp springs, and Comp pushrods.

Very good times for DRs and the raceweight. 10s are in the bag with slicks and back at your normal weight.
