Default Restall Vig to 3600 or 4000?

I currently have a Vig3200 and I will be taking advantage of the free restall soon. My question is...3600 or 4000? I don't mind reduced drivablity if it means better 60fts and ETs.

Raceweight ranges between 3400-3500. How high will a 4000 flash w/my 3.73s? Torque peaks at 4500, will the 4000 be too much stall?

TIA

EDIT: Maybe I should have posted this in drivetrain

The 3600 will stall 4300 behind a heads/cam 346ci LS1 and 4000 will stall closer to 4800 rpms. I've only heard of a few people running the 4000 and they lost too much rwhp to offset the marginal gain in 60' time.

I say go for the 3600, but just remember it stalls a lot higher than 3600.

go 3600... the 4000vig will eat up more HP than help.

with your cam and gear the 3600 should be perfect. Im gonna go with a 3.73's when i get this cam tuned in right. But I went 11.9's in so so weather with the vig3600, 3.23's and stock internals.. I see where cars now are running 11.6-7's with the vig3600 stock internal. Some are just freaks

I ran the #7 PI 3600 converter and went 1.5's all day long and went 11.75 almost four years ago. I think you will 60 ft like an animal but may end up locking the converter to run big mph. But I also think your 3.73 gear will help you out a lot in 3rd so it might not be like what I experienced.

I'm hoping for low 1.5s in good air w/a little more tire than I'm running now (26x10.5x16 ET Streets). Next season I'll have 26x10.5x15 Drags

Most of the time I lock it up anyway, usually good for a tenth and 1.5MPH. I will try different "lock-up points" and see what works best.

I love the Vig 3200. You can see everything I have in my Sig. I went with the 3200 because I spray. If you ever plan on using NOS I would leave it at 3200. It will flash about 3800-4000 when you do this. It`s a maniac when I spray her. I have the S2/X1 package and she is a crazy animal I love it.
