Default Best tc to replace my vig with?

My car is a TA, about 3700lbs with me in it. I have s2 patriot heads and a 228/228 112 cam. I have all bolt ons and a built a4 and 10bolt/3.23's. Right now I have the vig. 3200 tc. I think the vig. gives up to much power up top. Most of my driving is street with a few trips to the track a year. Is there a better tc for my cars setup? My vig slips to about 2500 under light throttle. I don't want anything looser than that, preferably tighter. I would like it to hit a little harder and be more efficient up top. What tc and str/stall speed do you guys think would be best for me? Would a 12 bolt with 3.73 gears be a better solution to this?
Thanks for any opinions!

The Vig is a great converter and more than likely you just need to get the right one for your application. Buying an off the shelf convertor is like saying that one size fits all. I went with an off the shelf Vig 3200 before I went mod crazy and at the end I found that my converter did not work with my setup. I called Jack at Precision and explained what I had and how I planed to drive the car. Jack re-stalled my converter and all I can say is what a hugh difference. Having the converter match the cars mods is VERY important and I think you need to talk to Jack about a restall. I a 100% sure you will be impressed.

How old is the Vig? I just ordered a Vig 3200 (I'm mostly stock) from what I understand is that within two years after the TC purchase you can have your stall changed for free if you want to go higher. Hope that helps.

Yeah, I should give them a call and ask what they think. I don't even no what specs mine is. I had the 3200, then went to the 3600 then back to the 3200 before the h/c. I am out of free restalls unfortunately. They did take care of them really well though.

Yank SS3800 or 4000 or a TCI 3800, do some searching on those.
