Question Is it really worth it?

I'm swapping out my exhaust system to true duals and I was wondering about taking off my cats or leaving them on. I would think that those cats would flow pretty damn good for how much they cost or I hope they would. Do you think I would gain anything. B/c if its minimal then I'm just going to keep them on.
Thanks
Ike

what true duals are you getting? if you're getting a custom true dual set-up done, then yes, you might be able to keep your cats. otherwise, i don't see how you could. true duals replaces the y-pipe, which is where the cats are. so how do u plan on keeping them?

yes it will be a custom setup and I know we can do it but my question is do you think it would make a difference with them being on or off flow wise?

yes, it will flow better without the cats. then sell the cats when u get them taken off. that way you won't be out as much money. thats what i would do. i think with the cats on, you'll just be chokin her compared to what it would w/o them....thats the whole point of TD's, to open her up as much as possible. thats just my .02. if you're worried about emissions, or about a little gas smell, or stuff like that, keep them on. otherwise, get rid of 'em.
