Have I got this right? On these type of cams I will have to replace the valve springs every 10k to 15k miles? If thats right I can see the logic behind the GM Hotcam. Put in LS6 springs and your good to go for 100k miles? I want to get the TR 224 but I do not want to have to replace the springs every year!

I'm running the Patriot Gold Dual's and TSP said with my TR224 .562 lift cam I could easily get 25-35K miles before replacement was needed. These springs can handle .650 lift and I don't think one has broken as of yet. I would however recommend checking spring pressure every 15K miles on a couple of them. I checked my previous 918s after 4800 miles and they had lost 16lbs of seat pressure over new. HTH
BTW You'll love the power a TR224 is capable of on stock heads. I attached my dyno graph of my stock head pull. Run was with all mods in sig thru a Hooker 3" ORY @ open Cutout in I pipe.
