Question Could build bolt 10 for street racing?

Could I build bolt 10 for street racing (Nitto 555r) + daily driver so that it be stronger and close to bolt 12 strength. What parts are needed?

Since you have a M6 the answer to your question is NO. You could not build a 10 bolt to be as strong as a 12 bolt or 9', Period.

Cheers.

Yeah you can strengthen it. Here are the parts you'll need:

(1) ring and pinion for 12 bolt
(2) install kit for installing 12 bolt gears in a 10 bolt

There was a guy around here that was required by his racing class to run the ten bolt, so he had to strengthen it.........he had stitch welded some bar stock along the axle and obviously did the girdle and that jazz......he was over 500 horses and had run it for a few years........obviously the weakness is inherent in the fact that it's so much smaller, and i'm not recommending this, just saying that there are cases where it has been done.....

Well if you have an automatic you could run a 10-bolt for a while, especially with like 2.73's or 3.23's (stronger than higher ratio gears). lol

A mini spool + no higher than say 3:73's + strange or moser axles + T/A cover. Will get it stronger but as for how long it will last will be up to driving habits and traction etc... They are just a little to small as everyone has said.

the weakest link in the 10 bolt is the pinion gear. No need to upgrade anything... axles, difirential etc, are waste of money since the first thing that will brake 9 out of 10 times will be the pinion gear.

12 bolt is the only way to roll
