Default Converter install ?

Do you need to have the engine or transmission removed to replace a torque converter? Or is easy to just swap? This is for a corvette.

I was told, you have to remove the transmission, to remove then install the torque converter.

Yes you have to remve it, but it should be cheap. i had mine done for 250...
