Drag Racing Tech - need helmet & safety loop?

Helmet is required for cars running 13.99 or quicker, though some tracks want everyone to have helmets. A driveshaft loop is required at 12.99 or when running slicks. As long as you don't have a convertible that is all you need. Your car should already be fine with things like battery tie down.

I am a drag racing rookie. I believe I need a helmet and a driveshaft safety loop to run my car. Is that correct? I just have boltons and will probably run a 12.50 at best. Do I need any other safety equipment? Where can I get a cheap NHRA approved helmet?
