Default 94Z28 LS1 Project Makes First Runs

Fun, emotional, glad, and a little frustrated.

Fun -- glad to get back in the seat after 9 months.

Emotional -- taking my daughter down the track after her wreck last June 1.

Glad -- new bests.

Frustrated -- hit rev limiter on every shift.

The car ran real strong and has a lot more in it after I get the PCM set up right.

Made 5 runs with 2 aborted for various reasons. Of the 3 good runs:

(only 1000' tracks in Arkansas)

60' -- 1.855 1.842 1.670
330' -- 5.229 5.168 4.987
1/8 -- 8.111 8.015 7.830
1/8 M -- 86.62 87.73 87.89
1000' -- 10.390 10.273 10.080
1000 M -- 99.42 100.22 100.62

The track got oiled after the last run so we left. Felt stronger with each pass, so maybe...

Next steps are to get the PCM set up right, check the HAL's (worked OK, but leaking fluid from tops of fronts), and check into the brakes.

Glad to get the family back to the track as more than observers.
