Default Need opinions/input

Opening day for the track i go to is April 5th. My previous best(stock) is

60'=2.411
ET=14.184
MPH=102.04

Now assuming i can cut a 2.0 60', that would drop me to around 13.6@? Now, with my mods, minus the tc, could i cut a 13.2 et,mph uknown?

I'm just trying to guess my times here, give me something to look forward to.

A 2.4 60ft!!!!!! What track is that from? were you spinning that much?

The general rule of thumb is any reduction in 60ft. time is worth 1.5-2 times as much in 1/4 et. So 13.2-13.6 should definatly be possible. What makes you think you can cut a 2.0 60ft.? It looks like you added more power but nothing to help traction.

Track was Quaker City Raceway. Track prep there is horrible, and they water the whole damn area in front of the lane. On the 60 foot deal, im hoping to get a 2.0. Which is possible. (trying to be optimistic here)What kind of MPH can i aim for?

I would seriously consider trying a differnt track like Norwalk(world-class track i cut high 1.8's low 1.9's on street radials and high 1.4's on slicks) Dragway 42 is decent, one good thing is you have to back into their waterbox and they dont let street tire cars in it. I don't know personally about thompsonvllie but i hear its ok.

I'll have to guess on the mph mabye 105-107mph with similar mods i was turning 107-109mph but i have a M6 so i'll trap a little higher.

That sucks to hear about Quaker city i though it would be a nice track the way summit racing has been pimpin them lately.

I've heard alot of great things about norwalk. I might make a trip out of it, seeing how its a 2 hour drive. I don't want to down QCR too much, but when the start spraying water everywhere(impossible to NOT drive in) and the track is slightly uphill, i yielded some crappy and depressing times. I don't have nittos yet, and won't until the tc is installed, so im relying on my sz50ep to help my 60. I know one thing for sure, the stock eagle gt2s were horrible.
