16 Bent Pushrods - How Much Power loss?
Tearing my motor down for a cam install...
All of my stock pushrods ended up being bent.. some worse then others. None were really visibily bent but rolling them on flat glass or wood resulted in them cluttering and rolling like ***.
Anyone know approx how much power this was robbing me?
Weird thing is I haven't missed any shifts since buying the car ... I guess getting it used you never know the history of the motor.
It may have been from me living on the rev limiter? LoL.

A shitload.
Also, considering ALL of them are bent it is very likely you have some bent valves, too.

I guess I am a lucky used car buyer. There have been no problems with my car even before I owned it. I hope everything checks out well with your ride. 16 Bent pushrods is crazy. Who did you buy the car from? This thread peaked my curiosity.

I would not only be concerned with the pushrods, but everything that relates to them. Your seats are probably sh*t, or are in the early stages of gettting there. The springs are tired, I'd bet. I'd do a leak down test. I would check everything (lifters, everything), and give it several once overs. You can have heads freshened up very easily. There's many places that can do it on the board.

Car still dyno'ed over 330 with the headers, duals and lid
Average for a 2000 M6 without an Ls6 intake.

When i rolled mine there is a seam in the PR that makes a little noise. You have to look under the PR and see if you can see light shining through in order to tell if they are bent or not. I have a hard time beleiving you bent all your PR......
