Default Speed density people...what to replace my MAF with?

If you are using speed density and the stock intake, what are you replacing your MAF with? Or what fits in it's space?

Finally, a use for a fully ported MAF...

Just hog the hell out of a junker, lose the
divider and everything. And be sure to tell
all the ricers about how it gave you 25HP
when you cut all the wires and stuff out

It's funny...here we are trying to get rid of the darn things, and they are using our MAFs in their cars. I don't get it...

You can use a piece of 3.5 inch plastic tube or 3.5 SS tube or Aluminized Tube as a replacement.

Will it fit inside the end of a lid? 3.5" outer diameter? Digging up a dead MAF might be a pain. The junk yards around here are a rip-off.

just seen your post i got a good ported maf i could sell you, i went back to stock witht he screen and all. The maf works fine but in your case that wouldnt matter. the ends are ported to 85mm so all you would have to do is hack out the wire part. let me know.

I think you gots to go get yourself some thin-wall
3.5" OD aluminum tubing. Then attach some freaky
looking electronics and a cable that goes up into
your wiring harness. Totally dead of course. But
polish it up, make it look ferocious and put a fake
manufacturer's nameplate on it. Perfectly smooth
tube on the inside, prop for mendacious mind-bending
bling-psych bullshit on the outside. If you ever want
to use it.

It would be wrong to sell it, though. So very, very
wrong.

I would like to get some aluminum tubing. Anybody know who I could have make me a custom aluminum intake tube from the lid to the TB? It would be an easy job with a good bender.

Sorry about that.
I saw the product (last year) on one of the sponsors websites I was linking to .....not the forums. Validated users can enter the restricted discussions....there is a lot of PCM/Speed Density knowledge in the restricted tech forum.
