Default First time in the 12's at rt 66 raceway last night!!! 00 Z M6 timeslips...

Ran the Z last night for the first time since stock (13.6 at 105)- Heres what she did with my mods (in sig):

R/T .076
60' 2.132
330 5.617
1/8 8.418
MPH 88.35
1000 10.818
1/4 12.844
MPH 111.50

I'm pretty happy about these times considering that I'm on Kumho Ecsta Supra 275 40 16's, and that I'm having a real hard time hooking up- big surprise. I was also surprised that I ran 10 times running pretty consistant 13.0's and I still won every race I was in, my first C5 vette kill (X2) and a 3000 GT Mitsu on the way home at 130+, and a turbo golf that was pretty damn fast almost to 150MPH. All in all a good night! <img border="0" alt="[chug]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_chug.gif" /> <img border="0" alt="[shoot]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_guns.gif" />

I've gone to the track a couple times and am at the 13.0 threshold. Would be great to see 12.9 it sounds so much better. A guy with an '01 SS M6, Bassani Y-pipe, cut out, and Nittos ran a 12.5 and had 60' times in the mid/upper 1's. My 60' was 2.17 w the F1's. BTW, I'm not one to preach 'cause my time is not stellar, but the Lou's Short Stick helped me cut a half second off my et's over the Hurst, it's really direct and solid- great $50 mod.

Also,
Have not lost to a Stang(yet), in any situation, track or street.
Putting in an ASA cam to widen the gap some more... <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />

Nice runs, drag radials should get you in the 12.50 zone.

I was there watching and think I saw your car. Do you have a Holley sticker on the hatch glass?

Great times but forget the drag radials get some et streets and join us in the slick lane more runs that way. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" /> <img border="0" alt="[driving]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_driving3.gif" /> <img border="0" alt="[burn out]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_burnout.gif" />

That is some strong mph. To answer your question about drag radials, I went from 13.19 @ 107 to 12.90 @ 108 with nittos and a cutout.

I had a similar 60ft time as yours with street tires and it dropped to 1.92 with a slipping clutch. You should easily go quicker than 12.5's with some nittos.

Nice run. Did you take the spare out and ****? Slap on some slicks and see what happens. <img border="0" alt="[USA]" title="" src="graemlins/patriot.gif" />

X5L- 1.56 60s? damn that is fast- all I'd see is your taillights w my 2.1 60.

Matrix- Sully told me that you are a "******' *****." <img border="0" alt="[gruffy cottonball]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_gruffy.gif" /> <img border="0" alt="[bomb]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_bomb.gif" /> <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" /> <img border="0" alt="[shoot]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_guns.gif" />

I think I probably should build my suspension and d-train up before I put some drag radials on the car. Too bad I am broke, maybe later in the summer.

X5L- Yeah I do have a Holley sticker on the glass, which car were you running?
