I haven't seen too many failures so far. I wonder if we will start seeing more as people start getting more miles on thier pumps. Mine has probably only 3k or so on it right now.

I have heard of a fair number failing. That is why I firmly believe that they should not be used on vehicles that see street duty. The gains are unimpressive, especially for what they cost. And they are proving to be undependable for extensive street use.

I was thinking about getting one for my next mod, but its more of an apearance mod than a performance mod. The hp gains dont impress me at all, and im not a big drag strip guy so letting it run in the pits to cool the motor isnt a big advantage. Ill spend that 500+ else where.

On my LT1, I had one fail the second week on my daily driver. The car was lightly modded, and when the stock pump started leaking, I went with Mezeire. They sent me another the next day and apologized. Luckily I realized it and shut her off. It would stick and I could whack it and it would spring back to life. Mezeire claimed they had a bad run of solder joints on the motor connection, and that caused the problem. I won't be using one on my LS1 though.
