Default 380-400rwhp

My goal is to get between 380-400rwhp(no nitrous) and still maintain a very street friendly car/daily driver. What is the best cam set-up that will help me get to this goal and maintain my daily driver status? Also what will be the best torque converter with that set up?

futral motorsports --------> talk to allan hes a sponsor. I'm going with them when i go to get a cam. They seem to have most torque with their cams. Like most 400 rwhp all motor fbods u see are usually 400 rwhp 380 rwtq. Now most FMS cars I see are 400=400. Just my opinion

a-4s don't dyno as high as m-6s due to more horsepower being lost thru the driveline.that being said,to reach just 380 with a cam only is going to take a pretty big cam,i would guess at least 235 degrees duration.most a4 H/C cars i know of with streetable cams in the 224-228 range dyno around 380-400,mabe a little more.IMO,to reach 380-400 in an a4 with a streetable cam and stock heads is not a realistic goal.but put in a TR224@114lsa or something similar and a 3200 TC and you have an easy low 12 sec. car that would still be a good daily driver.just my .02

that would work also.but you might not like the extra slippage.what's streetable to one person is too much for another.a lot of guys on here don't mind 3500-4000 stalls, but for me that's too much.talk to a sponsor, they can help you out with a cam/TC combination.
