Default LS6 PCV Conversion

What is all needed for this swap? The parts numbers I need to go to the dealer and buy all the parts needed. I have the LS6 intake, and a ported/polished throttle body. I have pretty bad oil consumption and I know its because of my damn failing PCV. I'll be doing this when I do the intake install. So can someone show me the parts numbers needed for the ls6 pcv valley swap? Thanks in advance.

I did this conversion and it didn't help at all. It still got just as much oil in the intake as before. Save your $ and just get a catch can. I got a catch can hooked to the LS6 valley cover now and the intake finally stays dry.

I'd think between the two it'd work a hell of a lot better then just a catch can, no? Without the LS6 PCV all that crap is just gonna stay in the valley area?

What crap? A catch can will work fine w/out the LS6 PCV. The LS6 pcv didn't do squat for my car. I don't understand?

It definately wasn't for me. Oil comes right through the LS6 valley cover into my catch can. Others have said it helped them and others have said it's useless as well. I have done it and speak from experience. I definately wouldn't waste the time or money on it. I can't believe I took a sawzall to my engine block to remove the casting boss either.

was it worth the time/money/hacking up my engine? yes

did it solve the problem? not entirely but it made things better.....

would I do it again? absolutely......

I have the LS6 Valley cover AND a catch can. Together they keep oil out of the intake (and in the engine).
