how many cars will i lose ok a firend has a 88 vette, the l98, well he bought a 350 block got it turned into a 383 he put a set of ati, or mti ( somthing "ti" stage 2 heads),has a cam im guessing hardcore, has LT's and a computer system for that motor since his is usless. um what kind of numbers will this produce, and if i was to race him.. uh how bad would i lose?

Brush up on your driving skills, get some stickies (nitto drag radials), back up with a bottle and depending on who is the better driver, I believe in you. Make sure you know how to drive with the bottle. I almost got cremated by a guy with little experience and a bottle. It really scared the s#@* outta me. I love my car.

I agree on the bottle, but you never know, sometimes you will take someone down that you are not supposed to but it sounds like you know this car pretty well so I doubt that will happen :-/

a 383 tpi style motor will be hard pressed to put 400 rwhp through an auto unless is has a huge cam and huge heads....my 1990 lpe vette put 333 rwhp through a 700R4, but it would also run high 11's...had lots of torque. He will beat you, but a 150 shot and tires you will be right there or beat him.

What MillaTK is saying is...there is no clear way of saying what the outcome will be as far as car lengths are concerned. Anything can happen on the street. Just race him and let us know how it goes. 
My guess is he'll put 4 cars on you from a dig up to 110 and from a roll about 45-120 about 3 cars. Hell, I'm just guessing here.
