Anyone know of a chemical that will eat up powder coating? I have tried using break fluid, but it didn't work like I expected. I was going to try laquer thinner or acetone, but would like to get a better idea of what works before I start buying and handling chemicals.

Yup Yup, or MEK works pretty well, when using either of these work in a WELL ventalated area, were some goggles, a good mask, and some good chemical resistant gloves, both of them are pretty nasty chemicals

YES both are very harsh chemicals, especially the stripper, I work at the airport and do paint work and the stripper is very bad. Be sure to wear rubber chemical gloves and googles, that stuff will burn the **** out of your skin,

"Jasco" works wonders for me. Its pretty neat to see how the paint curls up right after you apply some of that stuff.

If I wanted to unpowdercoat rims, would it harm them, or take the clear coat off, or what?
