Micky Thompson DR 255/50 16. Times Anyone running this size tire? How does it hook? Any quarter mile, or 60' times?
Thinking of running this size on a '70 Nova, as it's about the widest that will fit. Not sure if I can squeeze the 275-15 on it. Hope to be in the 11's. Trying to find out if the 255-16 can handle that.

I only got 5 passes on them so far, and all passes I had 20psi(hadn't even dropped them down yet) but I've cut a best of 1.65, only ran a low 12 though since I was having problems with the car. 
Best I pulled on 275/50/15 et streets was a 1.64 with 13lbs.

Yes. Stock tranny, rear end (3.23's) with 60K miles. Can't say how many more launches like that I will get with a stock drivetrain.
