Default It's Alive!

Yep, just fired her up for the first time tonight!

Rebuilt the entire block, new bearings, rod bolts, etc. TSP 231/237 and some stage II heads... sounded MEAN!

Got a small coolant leak, but I'll take care of that tomorrow, then it's time to put some miles on her and get her broke in.

Thanks to all of you guys that helped with my questions over the past month or so, I REALLY appreciate it!

Rob

It is a great feeling to know that I built it, and it works.

Now for this pesky coolant leak... coming from behind the water pump (the center bell housing looking pully). I used new gaskets, is there anywhere else it could be leaking from? I'll be pulling the water pump off today to check it out.

You may want to also check the throttle body heat tubes...they're the small pipes sticking out left and right from bottom of the tb.
