Default Hooker headers and y pipe installed today!

Hooker headers and y pipe installed today!
Is there a way to keep the y pipe from banging the floor when accelerating hard?

Yeah, there are a few options. bend it, clamp heater hose around the part that's banging, weld a valvespring in there, screw a piece of rubber to the floorboard. Those are a few options. You could also put in poly motor mounts and this would stop it all together. The other ways just muffle the sound of it hitting.

I recently bought a Mufflex #LS1HR exhaust support to stop the banging. Still waiting for it to come in the mail. Check them out at www.mufflex-performance.com

Tweeking the bottom of the floor works pretty good as does the Mufflex piece. You usually just need a little big of room under there to stop it from hitting.
