Default Transgo Shift Kit. Anything I need to think about before installing?

Question. I own a 1998 A4 Trans Am with aprrox. 48,000 miles and is a daily driver. I have a few minor mods. The PCM was modified to boost the accelleration a bit but I don't have the numbers or the stats. Anything I need to think about before installing the shift kit with Pros? Any additional parts to consider? How much is reasonable for the labor?

Appreciate your guys comments and time.

Its a waste in my opinion. I dont know if you have a stall, but I would lean that way if you dont have one.

I wouldn't think it's a waste, I have the hardest setting and it shifts hard, especially 1-2 shift. It made my exhaust sound better too cuz the rpms just change right away to the next gear, they don't drop down and come back up like with the stock slow shifts. Stopped my car from sounding like it was farting at upshifts, lol

Well my advice, throw a stall on there first. If that doesnt fix any shifting issues you had in the past, youll need more then a shift kit.
