Default Qtp, Tsp, Asp

Installed QTP headers, TSP true duals, & ASP U/D pulley. All went outstanding, I really enjoyed doing my first mods all at once along with cam/springs. Everything is pretty much done but I have not started it yet, maybe tomorrow. I have no way to tune it.

Thoughts; The QTP's are an outstanding product. Fit was perfect, craftmanship is great.

The TSP true duals fit great as well. I installed it piece by piece using zip ties to hold it up. I marked each piece with a black marker showing me when the pipe is fully inserted. Found out quickly that the X pipe has to go on a certain way, (I had it upside down). I used a rubber mallet to pound the pipe into just he right position. When I was done the driver side had a couple of joints not fully inserted by maybe 1 inch. Not a big deal at all, as there is still several inches inserted. I removed the rear lower seats and drilled two holes to hold up the rear portion. I guess I did this correctly. I will weld it together in the next couple of days. Not to the headers of course.

The ASP went great but I took every precaution. I used a longer bolt for the 3 jaw puller. Then I made an install tool out of all thread to install the ASP.

I did everything without any helping hands. I removed my a/c so that helped with space etc. I learned everything about these mods & how to do them on this board.

Some pics for you guys.

Very nice. I should have a set of Kooks here shortly. Both awesome headers. Glad your install went smoothly, hopefully I can say the same for mine

Very nice install! Huge SOTP improvement doing all at once.
So what is the general concensus on these pullies?....they caused knock on my Truck..pretty much same motor (LS1 based). I have been thinking about them, but don't want to go throught the same mess I have with my truck.

I've had my ASP for about 2 yrs now and everytime I've been hooked up to Autotap or had my car on the dyno being tuned i've never detected any knock. HTH Get the ASP not the March or SLP crap.

Went for a drive, holy **** is it LOUD. My tires can no longer hold first gear at WOT from any scenario. Didn't get on it much as I am worried about it running too rich or lean. Honestly it runs perfect, no surging, idles perfect, starts perfect, etc. I just want to drive it all night it's definetly bad *** as compared to before. I wonder if I can just drive it as is and never tune it. I drove enough to notice that it seems to be getting about the same gas mileage which I think is a good sign as far as the A/F ratio?? As far as the duals it took a little trial & error to get it to fit without being too low. It still hangs pretty low. Here are some more pics, I will take off the clamps when I weld it up.

It is very loud, things were vibrating in the car like my beer can and some change I had. I like the sound of a loud badass car though. I would say this is the max I would want. Some people were looking at me with disgust, you got to love that Then when you go WOT, well that sounded like heaven to me.

Yes it is a thunder racing 224. It has a nice lope to it, I think it sounds great at idle.
