opinions needed I have 16x8 chrome 5 spokes on my black z28 right now
I have a set of 17x9 stock painted 10 spoke ss wheels sitting at my house...
I need tires for either set. would switching to 17's make a noticeable difference in any aspect? Or should i just keep the chrome ?

I've heard you get better performance out of a 17inch tire. You will have a bigger contact patch on the road and A lower profile tire like a 40 or 35 will reduce flex in the sidewall.
