MT ET Street do not fit in stock wheel ??
Hi I tried to use my new MT ET Street 26X10.5-16LT in the stock wheels (Camaro z28 1999), and the guy doing the labor tell me "they don't fit...the size is ok, but you need a special wheel"
Is this true????

Sounds like the guy doesn't know what he is talking about, I am also running those on my stock Firebird wheels with no problems other than keeping my 10 bolt from blowing up.

He's probably saying that 'cause he can't get the beads to seat. The GM rims have a weird lip in the inside that makes the ET Streets difficult to get seated all the way. One shop tried for an hour on mine until I took it somewhere else. It finally seated by inflating it to like 90psi. I was standing behind a concrete wall with my sphincter puckered when they did that though.

I work in a tire shop, i do that all day long he should of had no trouble mounting those. he might of had a little trouble seating the bead but that is no problem for anybody that has done tires for more than a week.
as fare as inflating a tire to 90 psi not a big deal, but iv had tires blow up in my face rubber and wires slapping your face sucks a big one
