Default losses due to incorrect vavle springs

I have a g5x3 114 cam and running 987's at stock installed height (1.800), I would guess 120lbs seat pressure vice 140-145 required. how much performance am I loosing?

The 987 spring is an awesome SBC hyd. roller spring but with the LS1 having more agressive lobe profiles the springs will work and probably to fine but the newer profiles call for more seat than that. That is the reason the 918s have 130 and they are considered an entry level spring.

The 987's are not rated anywhere near that lift! Coil bind!
