Input/Output shaft question
OD in my 4L60E has been slipping pretty bad lately. I ran an autotap log and then went through it to find a place where I believed it to be slipping and this is what I found...
Engine RPM - 3969
input shaft RPM - 2519
output shaft RPM - 3611
gear - 4
TCC slip RPM - 5
What would the above indicate?
I can post the entire log if that would help...

There's something inconsistent there. If TCC
slip is only 5RPM, the input shaft and engine RPM
should be the same (or only 5 RPM different).
2519/3611 = 0.698; the OD final ratio of the
4L60E is 0.70 nominally. So I'd say this means
the trans is not slipping but the converter, is.
Why the TCC slip is so bogus, I have no clue.
Mine reads 500ish unlocked, 0-5 locked but
will slip / flare to 100-300 when "locked" under
any strong throttle.
If you can host the file & post the link I will
eyeball it.

Yeah, it looks like your TCC Slip PID is returning a
bogus value. I added real gear ratio and real slip
columns, the real slip looks sensible (like a weak
TCC or one that is fed inadequate pressure) but
the PID is returning all single digits for the most
part while real slip is tens to hundreds of RPM, and
follows TPS sensibly.
All of the slip looks to be in the TCC and none of it
in the clutch-packs, going by the shaft ratio in 4th.
Check out the pic:
