Newbie saying hi. Hey guys. Great site here. Already started reading the ton of info here. Learned already what NOT to do as fars mods go. 
My name is Tony...always been a fbody enthusiest. I've had fbodies since I was 18...first car was a 86 T/A..then moved on to a 87 then finally an 89 GTA which now is currently being parted due to an accident
Was originally a L98 but I swapped in a TTA motor. I still love turbo buick motors but time to give the LS1 a shot.
Bought my '00 Z28 just a few days ago. It's my first Camaro(really wanted another T/A but too expensive) and I couldn't be happier right now. I freakin love this car. It's Monteray Maroon(that's what I was told the color is). I haven't seen really any others around with this color. It has real light tan leather which is in mint condition. Ttops of course
Got one killer deal on it. Bought it with 46,925 miles. NADA wholesale is $12,800, retail is $15,250. Dealer had it on their lot for $12,250. I obtained financing on my own so basically I was able to walk in with cash. Negotiated a little and made an offer of $11,500 out the door(tax, tags, title, etc included). They accepted! I think I got one hell of a deal!
The plan right now is to do some minor mods(lid, exhaust..maybe a converter). Don't want to go TOO nuts since I'm paying on it plus for now it's my daily driver.
I hope to fit in here. I'm still a 3rdgen guy at heart but so far I'm diggin the 4thgen
Here are some pics. They're kinda shitty but I have more on the way.(I really love this color, that's what sold me on it)

Looks very good! IDK if the first word of the color is monteray but that is definatly maroon
That is a GREAT price for the car, good luck and welcome to the club!
I notice it still has the stock GSA's on it though

I was a die hard 3rd gen guy too....... Then I got my '00 camaro!! I tried to hold onto the 3rd gen love, but the new F-body is just too awsome to share your affections. Congrats on the new upgrade! And that was a KILLER deal!! Good job.
