Default Advantage of corvette oil pan

What are the advantages of a corvette oil pan.
-How much shallower is the oil pan?
-Does someone have the measurment on both a camaro pan and a corvette pan, from top surface that mates to the engine, to the external bottom of the oil pan.

If i use a corvette pan i would be able to drop the engine closer to the ground, thereby lowering the center of gravity.

Thanks

I don't think you can use the C5 pan with an F-body platform (and vice versa)...K member clearance issues etc.
