Default Lower than stock line pressure settings with a tune?

Can I lower my line pressure to less than stock at part throttle, and get softer shifts? On my Transgo, I would like to use 1 washer, drill the holes fairly large, and install all the stuff from the kit along with the Corvette servo. Then in HP Tuners, set the line pressure at part throttle extremely low so it would shift close to normal. Then adjust the curve to stock pressure above 1/2 throttle.

Does anyone know if this is possible, or would work? I am trying to accomplish softer shifts at part throttle, but shift real hard under WOT.

Thanks

You can adjust the shift pressure and the force motor, sure.
If you raised the mechanical line pressure you would end up
shifting harder, if you left it all alone. Realize that the PCM
won't have any clue about the real line pressure so you will
just want to work relative to what you've got, "by feel".

I found stock settings to be softer than desirable anyway,
especially the adaptation time values. Though maybe the
trucks are set up firmer to start.
